St. Michael the Archangel is a very active parish and we would love to have you join us in our us in faith and worship, friendship, service, and fun! Our bishops tell us:
The parish community has a special role in promoting participation in the life, mission, and work of the faith community.
"The parish is where the Church lives. Parishes are communities of faith, of action, and of hope. They are where the Gospel is proclaimed and celebrated, where believers are formed and sent to renew the earth. Parishes are the home of the Christian community; they are the heart of our Church. Parishes are the place where God's people meet Jesus in word and sacrament and come in touch with the source of the Church's life." Communities of Salt and Light, p. 1
St. Michael welcomes all people, weather you are a Catholic new to the area and want to join our church, or you have been away from the Church for a while and are thinking about coming back, or you are not Catholic but want to learn more about the Church, this page is for you.
Were you raised Catholic but do not come or seldom come to church anymore? Are you a Catholic who now feels separated from the Church? Would you like to feel at home in the Catholic Church again? Catholics Returning Home is a program for those who have drifted away from the Catholic Church and God and are considering reconnecting. If you have been away for sometime, we can help you rediscover your Church. No matter how long you have been away and no matter what the reason, we invite you to consider renewing your relationship with the Catholic Church. St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church invites you to participate in our upcoming Catholics Returning Home program, which consists of six weekly sessions
The Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults is the process established for the universal Church for individuals to become Catholic and receive the sacraments of initiation - Baptism, Confirmation, and the Eucharist. The RCIA program welcomes all those who were never baptized, received Christian baptism outside of the Catholic Church, or those Catholics who have not received all of the Sacraments of Initiation (Eucharist and Confirmation).
