In his encyclical “The Gospel of Life”, Pope John Paul II called us all to change our current culture of death into a culture of life. The Gospel of Life is at the heart of Jesus’ message, “I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly.” (John 10:10) Human beings are called to a fullness of life far beyond earthly existence, because it consists in sharing the very life of God. This supernatural vocation shows the greatness and inestimable value of human life even in this world. (Evangelium Vitae)
