Adult Faith Formation provides opportunities for adults to better understand and know their Catholic faith. We offer monthly programs to help parishioners grow spiritually and equip them with the knowledge needed to live a Catholic life in today’s world.
ENDOW

The ENDOW (Educating on the Nature and Dignity of Women) curriculum is based on the theological truths of the Catholic Church, but it is written for the “women of the pew”. Our belief and experience have told us that once the Church’s teachings are correctly understood, they are easy to embrace. No homework required.

CATHOLICISM ADULT STUDY PROGRAM

Have you always wanted to know more about your Catholic faith? Join us on Sunday evenings from 7:30 PM – 9 PM for the Cathoicism Adult Study Program starting January 15, 2012. Fr. Robert Barron created the groundbreaking Catholicism Adult Study Program as a thematic presentation of what Catholics believe and why, so all adults can come to a deeper understanding of the Catholic Faith. Not a video lecture, Church history or scripture study, this engaging and interesting formational program uses the art, architecture, literature, music and all the treasures of the Catholic tradition to illuminate the timeless teachings of the Church.

WHY BE CATHOLIC?

The highly successful series, Why Be Catholic? began in January, 2010, to a standing-room-only audience of more than 350 people and has continued to have an important and far-reaching impact on the many people – Catholic, non-Catholic, and nondenominational - who have attended one or all of these meetings.
The monthly series uses personal stories and testimonies from people of many faiths, backgrounds, and walks of life to begin to answer the basic questions of what attracts people to the Catholic faith, what holds them there, what brings them back?
No charge, no reservations, no pressure. All are welcome. A Children’s Ministry is available by prior arrangement through childrensministry@livoniastmichael.org.
To sign up for monthly reminders about these speakers, send your name and e-mail address to: WhyBeCatholic@livoniastmichael.org.
Upcoming "Why Be Catholic?" Speakers

Our Monday, April 16, we will welcome one of our success stories. Deb Kinast was baptized Catholic, but ventured into several faiths, finally ending up as a devout Baptist. She came to hear our first speaker, Steve Ray another devout Baptist, and prove him wrong about the Catholic faith. At the end of his talk, Deb turned to her sister and said "I'm Catholic". The following week she met with Fr. Tindall and came back to the Church. Deb has quite a story to tell about her adventures in faith, so please put her on your calendar. We will meet at 7 PM in the school cafeteria.
