Religious Education Grades K-8

Welcome to St. Michael’s Religious Education Program! We are so excited to offer faith formation classes for the public, charter, and home-school students of our St. Michael Parish community, and we hope you will join us!!

Our K-8 Religious Education students meet with their catechists (religion teachers) each Monday evening from 5-6 PM at St. Michael Catholic School. During class, we study the Bible, learn about our Catholic beliefs (doctrine), and practice and celebrate many of our Catholic traditions--like prayer services and liturgies, Mass, reconciliation, Stations of the Cross, and May Crowning.

2019-2020 Registration

Registration for the coming 2019-2020 school year is August 12 - September 13. Our session opens with our first class on Monday, September 23. Our first day of class will be Monday, September 23, from 5 PM - 6 PM. That day, parents and students (K-8) will meet together at 5 pm with our catechists and myself for a start-of-school prayer service and orientation in the school cafeteria. Parents, please plan to stay that first day with your child.

If you have further questions, please contact our Director of Religious Education, Mrs. Kathy Nold, at ext. 235 or our Religious Education secretary, Nicole Orosz, at ext. 234. We look forward to hearing from you!
