Students Will:

See God's presence in the world and our call to holiness.

Recognize Baptism as a Sacrament of Initiation.

Recognize the symbolic actions of Christ.

Celebrate the school liturgy weekly.

Understand Reconciliation as a Sacrament of healing.

Understand the Liturgical year.

Students Will:

Focus on the Commandments.

Review the Beatitudes.

Look at man’s sinfulness in light of God’s mercy.

Discuss human rights and the sacredness of all human life.

Learn about God’s grace in our lives.

Discuss and research the lives of Saints.

Introduce human sexuality in the light of Church teaching.

Students Will:

Compare different types of prayer.

Learn the rules of fasting and abstinence.

Know the Seven Sacraments.

Study the Rosary in October.
