THE CELEBRATION OF THE CHRISTIAN MYSTERY

Students Will:

Learn about Sacrament of Baptism as a celebration of membership in the Church.

Look at the celebration of the Eucharist as a special meal Jesus shares with us.

Recognize God’s love and forgiveness.

Participate in all school Mass once a month.

Celebrate and discuss Liturgical seasons.

Students Will:

Learn to make choices.

Discuss ways to live as friends and followers of Jesus.

Serve, love and respect people.

Discuss taking care of ourselves.

Read Bible stories of Jesus.

Learn about forgiveness.

Students Will:

Compare different types of prayer.

Learn Sign of the Cross.

Learn Hail Mary.

Learn Our Father.

Learn Grace Before Meals.
