KROGER PROGRAM
Organizational code: 82803

Kroger’s Community Rewards Program only works for one year, beginning in May and going through April. The 2009 – 2010 program is done. For those who participated even for a month or two in the May 2009 – April 2010 program need to re-register their Kroger Plus cards. New families can register and old families re-register beginning April 1, 2010 at www.Krogercommunityrewards.com. Those registered for April 2010 will continue to earn credit through April 30. You may no longer register using the bar code. Nor can you re-register using the bar code. It must be done online. Click for step by step instructions to registering online.

St. Michael School's organizational code is 82803. For new families, within 7-10 business days of registering your Kroger receipt will show “At your request, Kroger is donating to St. Michael School.” At this time Kroger’s is manually inputting the donations message on the receipt. If you’ve seen the message once, you are ok. If you’ve never seen it, you may want to try to re-register. You can’t register or re-register twice. It should also give you a message at the end of registering to let you know that the process is completed. We get reports quarterly, beginning with a report for the period May 1, 2010 – July 31, 2010. If you want to verify that you are getting credit from that time period, leave a message on the scrip hotline and we will get back with you.

Each dollar spent equals one point. Based on the total points earned by St. Michael families each quarter, Kroger will determine how much they will send us in a check. The maximum per quarter per organization is $50,000. Along with the check we will receive a report showing the breakdown of each family’s eligible purchases, which will be used to determine the familys voucher credit. Your credit will equal half of the total store credit attributed to your family. Think of it as a pie. St. Michael’s slice is determined by how much all of our families buy. Your slice of the pie is your portion of our slice of the big pie.

Not all purchases count. Alcohol, tobacco, government-assisted pharmacy expenses, postage stamps, Kroger gift cards, gift certificates to other stores, bottle deposits, lottery and promotional tickets are excluded.

If you have friends or family that also shop at a Kroger store in Michigan, you may ask them to register. You will need to let us know their name so we can tie it to you when we prepare vouchers. For family and friends re-registering, we do not need their names again, just any new family members or friends. The reports we receive from Kroger show the Kroger Card Number, the first and last name of the person affiliated with the Kroger Card and the amount of points/dollars earned. Kroger does not have the capability to link a family member or friend’s Kroger Card to your account.
