For Restaurant.com, you purchase the $50 gift card (or 2 for $25 or 5 for $10, totaling $50) redeem it online at restaurant.com for any number of local/non-local restaurant gift certificates. Kroger’s – if you have not re-enrolled since April 2010, please do so. If you are a current Kroger shopper and haven’t yet enrolled, please enroll. You can enroll/re-enroll your family and friends, too. See the Kroger Page on this scrip website section for step by step instructions for both enrolling and re-enrolling. Why Use Scrip? In these tough and uncertain economic times, everyone is looking for ways to cut back spending and create savings. Using scrip for your regular purchases can help you earn tuition credit and save you money as well as help to raise money for the school. When you spend $100 a week on groceries and use a rechargeable card (Kroger's, Larry's, Hiller's, Busch's), you earn $130 in tuition credit over the course of the year. When you spend $50 a week on gas with the Great Lakes gas cards you can earn up to $52 in tuition credit. Use it for Birthday, First Communion, Confirmation and Graduation gifts. Eat at fast food places when you are on the run, keep Arby's, Burger King, Wendys, Subway, Steak N Shake on hand. Worried that some of the retail stores are going out of business? Rest assured Great Lakes stops carrying gift cards well before companies go into Chapter 11 or close. Planning Home Improvement Projects or Appliance Purchases? Think ahead and save money on tuition. Order through scrip for these or other available stores. If you are going to do a big project we can make a special order if necessary. We would need to be able to place your order 2 weeks prior to your needing the gift cards. Home Depot ($25, $100, $500 denominations available) Lowe's ($25, $100, $500, $1000 denominations available) Sears / Great Indoors ($25, $100, $250 denominations available) Wal Mart ($25, $100, $250 denominations available) Making Vacation Plans Use scrip to help with your vacation plans and earn tuition credit. American Airlines offers cards for $100 and $250 at an 8% discount, which can be used at AA.com or by placing an airline reservation over the phone. Several hotel chains offer gift cards as well - Comfort Inn chains ($25 or $100 at 6%); Marriott Chains ($50, $100 or $500 at 12%); Best Western ($25 or $100 at 12%) are some of the more popular chains. Need to rent a card - Avis and Budget both offer $50 at 8%. And don't forget gas cards for almost any type of station. If you are traveling to Disney even 2% on $25, $100 or $1000 can add up to tuition savings. Need Catering Services? Both Panera Bread and Thomas's will accept scrip for payment of catering services. Also don't forget to order scrip for your Gordon Food Service party purchases.
