Compare angels vs. humans created with a body and soul.

Study the birth of Jesus and His “hidden” life.

Study the signs and wonders of Jesus and His teaching.

Discuss the life, death and resurrection of Jesus.

Recognize Abraham as the Father of God’s People.

Study the life of Moses.

Identify ourselves as part of a universal Church community.

Baptism

Students Will:

Understand the Sacrament of Baptism.

Determine our role today as Baptized Christians.

Eucharist

Students Will:

Know the Liturgy of the Word and the Liturgy of the Eucharist.

Celebrate Mass weekly with the whole school.

Reconciliation

Students Will:

Recognize God’s love and forgiveness.

Understand the Sacrament of Reconciliation.

Liturgical

Students Will:

Recognize seasons and places.

Students Will:

Learn and understand the Ten Commandments as they apply to adolescents.

Determine ways to live the way Jesus would:

- Help others.

- Work in the Church community.

- Identify the religious, missionaries, martyrs .

Learn about God’s grace in our lives.

Develop an understanding of the Communion of Saints.

Students Will:

Compare different types of prayer.

Learn Ten Commandments.

Learn Prayer to St. Michael.
