UNIFORMS

 GIRLS (Grades 1- 8)

1. Uniform
• Grades 1-4 - jumpers;
• Grades 5-8 - kick pleat skirts or split skirt. Skirts must be at knee length only.
2. Navy Walking Shorts - Optional; however, shorts must be purchased only from Schoolbelles and may be worn only during the months of August-September and May-June. Tennis shoes or sandals with socks and either the uniform blouse or gym shirt may be worn with the walking shorts.
3. Navy slacks may be worn November 1 - April 1 with the uniform blouse and school shoes (no tennis shoes). Slacks must be purchased from Schoolbelles only.
4. Blouses -
• Grades 1-4 - Oxford cloth or broadcloth, tailored or peter pan collars, short or long sleeve. Color - White or light blue.
• Grades 5-8 The banded bottom uniform topfrom Schoolbelles. A camisole or other undershirt must be worn underneath their uniform top. No long-sleeved shirts may be worn under short-sleeved blouses or gym shirts. No t-shirts with any color or writing may be worn under shirts.
5. Sweaters - Cardigans, V-neck, or pullovers may be worn if desired. Color(s) - Navy blue, white, or hunter green – solid, no patterns.
6. No sweatshirts are allowed except on spirit or dress down day. (Sweatshirt must have school emblem on shirt for spirit/dress down day).
7. Socks - Crew socks above ankles only, knee high, or tights. Color(s) - White, navy blue, or hunter green – solid, no patterns or stripes.
8. Shoes - Flat dress shoes or black athletic shoes (non tennis shoe looking). No backless shoes.
9. No make-up, colored nail polish, costume jewelry, glitter, or tattoos (real or fake) must be removed.
10. Small -- post only -- earrings are permissible. No hoop earrings are allowed. No more than one earring per ear allowed. Simple silver/gold chains with a cross are permitted.
11. Extreme hairstyles are not permitted (including bleaching, highlighting, or coloring of hair, cornrows, or dreadlocks). Kerchief/bandanna and headbands in blue only.

BOYS (Grades 1-8)

1. Navy blue dress pants - Cotton or corduroy. (We strongly encourage you to use Schoolbelles.)
2. Navy Walking Shorts - Optional; however, shorts must be purchased only from Schoolbelles and may be worn only during the months of August-September and May-June. Tennis shoes or sandals with socks and either the uniform shirt or gym shirt may be worn with the walking shorts.
3. Dress shirts - Oxford cloth or broadcloth, short or long sleeve. Colors(s) - White or light blue. No long-sleeved shirts may be worn under short-sleeved shirts – gym or uniform. No t-shirts with any color or writing may be worn under shirts.
4. Sweaters - Cardigans, V-neck, or pullovers may be worn if desired. Color(s) - Navy blue, white or hunter green
5. Ties--Grades 1-2 - solid navy blue continental (crisscross); Grades 3-6 - solid navy self-tie or pre-tied; Grades 7-8 - solid navy or hunter green self-tie.
6. Socks - Solid color. No Footies. Crew socks are allowed. Color(s) - Navy blue, black, or white
7. Belts are part of the boys' uniform.
8. Shoes - Flat dress shoes or black athletic shoes (non tennis shoe looking). No backless shoes.
9. No earrings or tattoos (real or fake) are allowed.
10. No visible facial hair is permitted.
11. Hair - Neat conservatie haircuts are required with hair cut above the eyebrows and ears and at collar length. Hair must not be gnarled, thick, or poof in appearance. Extreme hair styles are not permitted (shaved areas, lines, tails, bleaching, highlighting or coloring hair, corn rows, dreadlocks) No visible facial hair is permitted.
