Below is a list of service project opportunities for Junior High and High School students. The person in charge of the event must be contacted PRIOR to the event. Take your Service Log to the event with the top section filled out and get the supervisor's signature. Complete the Service Log questions.

COMMUNITY OPPORTUNITIES

  • Help at a soup kitchen
  • Pack and distribute food at a food bank
  • Earn money to donate to a charity or collect items for charity
  • Help a senior citizen with projects around their home such as painting, cleaning, mowing the lawn, raking leaves, shovel snow, take out trash and recycling
  • Visit a nursing home or someone who is sick
  • Volunteer at a local hospital or hospice center
  • Cleanup a neighborhood park
  • Tutor another student
  • Babysitting in times of need (non social outing), e.g., grocery shopping, funeral, work
  • Make cards for sick or lonely people.
